Shannon Hirlehey is the Owner and Lead Event Planner of All Things Love Events – Simcoe County based. 

If you were to look back on Shannon’s childhood, you could say that her career as an event planner was hinted upon even then. Long before she knew it would one day be her dream to do it professionally, she would hone in on her innate planning skills by creating make-believe weddings with her childhood friends, coordinating successful lemonade stands throughout the neighbourhood and even carrying check-lists around the house to ensure tasked chores had been completed by various family members. 

It wasn’t until 2011 that her childhood interests and her career aspirations would align. After graduating from the Hotel & Resort Management Program at Georgian College, Shannon worked front desk at Christie’s Mill Inn & Spa. One day, the onsite wedding coordinator asked her to help with a few details of the day, which immediately peaked her interest. The moment she saw the bride walking down the aisle, she would be forever hooked! Eager to help with another, she quickly transitioned into the wedding department and joined their team. The rest is history, from there she has worked at two highly regarded venues across Ontario (Langdon Hall and White Oaks to be exact), building her experience and knowledge of the wedding world with some of the industry’s finest. 

Fast forward to All Things Love. 

In 2017, Shannon (an avid cottage goer growing up) decided to return to her Muskoka roots and take her passion for wedding planning to the next level—starting her own company. A professional but amiable service, All Things Love offers day-of coordination, partial planning, styling and design and special occasion assistance. With over 15 years experience in hospitality, seven dedicated to event planning, Shannon has mastered the skills of multitasking and time management, with an emphasis in customer service. She is living her dream, doing the work she loves in the place where it all began!
